I was looking for a painted snipe that had been reported at Sandy Camp Road Wetlands but recent storms had flooded the muddy area and the bird was nowhere in sight. As I was looking, a movement out of the corner of my eye caught my attention, and I noticed a female Leaden Flycatcher. She flew down to a tiny nest and a male took off and she sat on the nest.

I was looking straight into the morning sun and it was very challenging to photograph without a flash (I must remember to take it with me) so I took some photos and decided to return later in the day and get some more in better light.
